JOURNAL

The first several months were spent deconstructing the bus. We removed seats, passenger rails, lights, wall material and worst of all the front and rear floor sections. Significant time was also spent foraging for useable building materials in the secondary market (items that were deconstructed from other buildings, overstock, factory close-outs, and Ebay). After stripping away to the shell we installed the new floor sections; insulated the walls and ceiling; ran AC and DC wires; plumbed fresh, grey and black water lines; put in giant heat exchanger from mid-section of bus to engine compartment for vegetable oil; attached walls; constructed under storage and fuel system bays. Although the list is condensed it represents a year of time.

July 2004 We are grateful to have our website completed so that we can give you a more accurate account of our time and progress in the different areas of bus construction. Our current projects are as follows: finishing touches on electrical system, completing the dining area, black water tank compartment and walls around the refrigerator and bathroom.
